raison d'être - The Residential Library

One of the best and finest stays for us in Kerala in our month long road-trip. We intially went for one day stay and we liked it so much that we kept extending for 5 days. things we really loved about Raison d'etre: 1. Amazing Hospitality by Rahul, Thomas and Vimal. Firstly they are very down to earth, humble and very interesting people. had a lovely welcome drink , parking assistance and good clean & hygienic room to check-in for. 2. Morning breakfast is very homely made the by the in-house cook complimented by a nice fresh juice and coffee for a very reasonable price. 3. My wife had to attend a early morning call. they were very kind enough to let her use their office set-up for the call. Also, fixed the wi-fi issue on priority when we spoke about the low speeds. 4. The kind of support which Mr.Sajid has helped me with, when i met a car accident late in the night in Trivandrum. The next morning, right from the contacts to tow the car from the beach, repair the car and get the best possible price for the car repair was all taken care by Sajid, purely out of grace and their hospitality nature. this incident really helped me love Kerala more. Can't thank these guys enough for the support we got all during the stay. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a stay in Trivandrum to look up to Raison D'etre 🙂 Lots of love and warm regards Sabaresh

One of the best home-stay experiences of my life. They are so well managed, and extremely efficient, very liberal (we could come back at 2 pm from our city roaming and they would be just fine with it) and have an unbelievable level of professionalism. The rooms are excellent, and the food is home cooked and very yummy. The best part is that they don't want you to experience their place as a hotel or a homestay, but a home away from home where strangers are welcomed as not just friends but as a family... The place was very clean and had all the essential amenities. The staff were courteous, and the food was truly delicious, especially the meals. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!
