Separate washroom, dining area, and a discussion room with a 3D map and round table add great value. Open 24×7, close to the railway station, secured with CCTVs, and perfectly silent for focused study. The staff is very cordial and always ready to help. The reading room located near Thycadu Hospital is an excellent facility for students and professionals who require a calm and structured study environment. The space is quiet and peaceful, allowing for uninterrupted focus and concentration. Great place in a great location ( Walkable distance to Thampanoor Busstand and Railway station). The owner is friendly, attentive, and quick to sort out any issues. They also keep everyone informed about small things that help maintain comfort—like reminding us to keep the food area door closed for cleanliness. Even though it’s a closed room, the space is always clean and well maintained. People here generally have good civic sense, which makes the environment even better. Some corners don’t get direct fan airflow, but it stays cool inside, and a small portable fan easily fixes it. I’m someone who needs constant airflow, and even then, I’ve been comfortable here. I usually sit till around 11:30 PM, by which time most people have left. The place is almost full from early morning till night. Facilities are solid: easy access with biometric authentication doors, personal cabins with locks, 24/7 CCTV, a discussion room, water purifier, bathroom, washbasin, dry and wet waste bins, and separate bins for the bathroom. Everything is maintained well. Each cabin has two dedicated charging ports, and every desk has a cable management hole, which keeps the workspace neat. The discussion room has helpful maps and even a 3D world map— interesting to look at and learn from during your own breaks. A good WiFi connection which is also available 24x7 - about 20-30MBps minimum even it's crowded. The chairs are ergonomic with height adjustment, back tilt, tilt lock, and adjustable armrests—comfortable for long study or work hours. Pricing: • Admission fee: ₹500 • Caution deposit: ₹500 (refundable) • Monthly fee: ₹1750 (to be paid before the 5th of every month) (As of OCTOBER/2025) When I joined in October, around 40 out of 50 seats were already taken, so availability might be limited depending on the time of joining.
