We came to this yoga retreat without many expectations and left completely in love. The place is truly authentic, with amazing people, great energy, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the first moment. The food was absolutely incredible — honestly some of the best we had during our entire trip. Fresh, nourishing, and made with so much care. The yoga classes were excellent, the teachers were professional, inspiring, and attentive, and the whole staff was simply wonderful. The retreat itself is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by greenery and agriculture, with a vibe that feels a bit like a small village or kibbutz. We didn’t feel the need to go anywhere — everything we needed was right there. We also had a personal consultation with the doctor, who tailored treatments specifically for us, which was a meaningful part of the experience. I arrived feeling very stressed, and during my time here I truly learned how to breathe, relax, and slow down. By the last day, it felt like I had been on a real inner journey and left with valuable life lessons. Highly recommended — this is much more than a yoga retreat, it’s a truly healing experience.

Even after paying high fees, we have to clean our own rooms, wash our own plates after every meal, do our own laundry, and there is no tea or coffee given to us at evening time. How can students focus on yoga learning if we are always busy doing all this cleaning and washing?

I felt Worth to come all way from Bengaluru to Learn Yoga. The depth and vastness of knowledge the teachers has - Shanky Sir, Atharv Sir, Rakesh Sir, Abhijith Sir, Rajat Sir is immense. They are humble and simple which makes every student to approach them with ease and clear doubts. Be it Practical Asanas, Philosophy, Ayurveda, Meditation, Pranayam, Hatha Yoga - Ekam Yogashala is my place to learn without a second thought. My experience at Ekam Yogashala during their March yoga retreat was truly unforgettable! The retreat was thoughtfully structured, with a great mix of activities and excellent yoga and pranayama classes. The program was engaging, and there were plenty of excursions and opportunities to explore. The food was lovely too. The owner, Dewakar, made sure we were well looked after—he was friendly, always available, and made us feel right at home. His assistant, Rakesh, along with the entire team, were incredibly kind and welcoming. I felt safe, supported, and happy throughout the entire retreat. I also loved that we were in a peaceful, tranquil area, with time to relax and even sunbathe.

A true sanctuary for body, mind, and soul! Hidden away from the chaos of Rishikesh and Tapovan, this place feels like a small piece of paradise - it’s the perfect space to go inward and truly live yoga. The teachers are exceptional: kind, humble, deeply knowledgeable, and experienced. They don’t just teach yoga — they embody it. The ashram itself is clean, simple, and minimalistic — exactly what you need to focus, breathe, and grow. The food is delicious, nourishing, and varied, prepared with love. I’m endlessly grateful for the opportunity to complete my 200-hour TTC here. It’s been a transformative experience — one that will stay with me far beyond the mat.
