I don't know what others say, what is the academy looking for? students pay for auditions, the academy doubled the fees from the last year 1500 to 3000 for new joiners. What is the point of learning music for beginners, if you expect them to sing Raag at audition time and sing exactly as you say? I am not classical trained that's why I applied for it. I want to learn, My voice is good, you guys should give a reason for not selecting a student. Please make the audition free, if you select students on their singing skills and voice. U guys just becoming like others money making academy. I am sorry I am saying this but I was very excited to join you. I am posting my clips to show, I can sing very well when I am not trained in vocal or learned any raag.

I studied Hindustani Classical Vocal from here. The knowledge of the sangeet gurus and their way of teaching is so good! Gandharva Mahavidyalaya is known for its reputation in teaching Indian classical music and dance and is the most prestigious music institute in India as we all know. But my personal experience, being a student was even more amazing! The environment is also very peaceful and there is a certain calming and artistic vibe of that place with like minded people who are equally dedicated to music, people from all walks of life, some studying in school, some doing college, some working in a job, some full-time musicians. You will get to learn a lot from this place because it will ignite the artist and musician in you! You wil l learn discipline of practice along with creativity of music! Lastly, you would have a lot of beautiful memories to cherish of this place. The campus is so beautiful and so are the people, polite, humble and dedicated. Music is all it is .. ❤
