One of the best libraries in Mysore. Best place to study for any competitive exams etc. Very clean and quite. No less than any private libraries.

Central public library is well situated and is stocked with books for all tastes from kids to adults. Open from 8 am to 8 pm, u can become a member for a nominal amount of just 100 or 200 rs. U fill a form and produce aadhar identity card and r passport photos. Staff r cooperative. U can read most monthly and weekly periodicals, but can't borrow them. 3 books r allowed for keeeping 15 days. Change books daily too. Good hunting books in a jungle of books called Library.

Library is soo good but (libraian RAMESH sir) is not supportive to Competetive aspirants we are studying this library almost 6 years but recently we have problem in this library whenever comes for studying we sit and study old Chair. But (libraian RAMESH sir) replaced with new chair old Chair Asemble paper section but we are using new chair almost 6 months then after using new chair we are suffered from neck and body pain.. But we are decided to go and asking (libraian RAMESH) but he is not respond properly and he is not taken seriously. Finally we need old Chair ಈ ರಿವ್ಯೂ ನ deputy director (MANJUNATHA.B) ನೋಡಿದ್ರೆ.. Pls sir we need old Chair for studying pls replaced it may be i think u understand my position and problems.. Pls solve it sir

Nice and very calm and well maintained place. Specially v good place for students.

Good place to read daily newspaper, magazines. Very calm, cool and spacious place. Many students come here to study for various competitive exams.
