Mahatma Gandhi Library

Library is good, especially for people who can't study at home. The fees is affordable too. The only problem I faced was during admission. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. They are not co-operative and they don't listen to the students' issue. Whenever you seek any help from them they ignore it. Also…many students Like me have faced issues mainly because of the current lingusitic conflict between Hindi and Marathi, and they dismiss the people who can't speak marathi. And I've been mentally harrased because of it. And the bathrooms are really terrible too. Really disappointed.

The issue is with the admission. The staff behavior is seriously ridiculous and they will keep you running for days to get admission even after you have all the documents. The library is in the hospital premises and the staff member himself don't know what AIIMS is, when told preparing for AIIMS, he asked what is it. I mean seriously.

It's a good place for studying. The main issue I had faced is regarding the admission. I already have a library pass but wanted to make another pass for reading story book wherein they troubled us a lot. First they were not having receipt. Then just because the timings were around 5 they declined to make the pass and during that time also we were not informed that pass is make only open for 5hrs wherein half an hour is their lunch time. The staff is really arrogant. We were being told that using library pass for a year is compulsory then another person said that it need to be renewed for 3 years. Wasn't expecting this thing from the library. For studying in library, Sometimes the chairs are broken , sometimes people feel like suffocating, sometimes places are not available and many more.Recently they told us not to study by walking,there are people who stay the whole day and have to us this method. Overall,the place is good and the prices are reasonable but other things need to be worked upon. Recently there are many many things happening which doesn't make an proper study environment.

Mahatma Gandhi library is the best place I have ever visited and it is absolutely right place to study and focus because the moment you keep your feet in library you like your life changes

Library is a very great place to study but the real problem is the admission process I was harassed by the work person just because I said to talk in Hindi instead of marathi? Is this the behaviour we expect from govt employees in government places and they straight away told me they won't give me admission because I am going to appear for neet? Library is open for everyone it's a public place I am ready to pay and maintain decoram l, why do I have to face such lingual issues and inequality. Complete disspointment harassed me mentally just because I am a kid and can't raise my voice. And proudly said you don't know marathi that's not my problem. Aise desh badhega aage. I request to pls take action against this kind of behaviour with students

This library is literally not that library which you see in movies or cartoon here only you you can come toh study which will cost 125 rupees,no books will be provided for reading and nothing else you will get u can't even charge your mobile here .I am sharing some photos how this library looks like

It was all good but the girls washroom. It's been like 4. To 6 months since the shower lead of girls washroom broke and no one has took the responsibility to fix it. For girls who have hygiene issue or period and plans to stay whole day to study, how would they clean up . ‍♀️ ‍♀️ . Like please that's the basic thing atleast fix that !!!! (Otherwise it's nice place to study )
