Third Environment Montessori Preschool

It has been two years since my daughter joined Third Environment, and I couldn’t be prouder of her progress. While searching for a preschool, I visited multiple schools, always taking her along because I wanted her to feel good about where she’d be spending her early years. When we visited Third Environment, she was instantly happy and said, "I want to go here." And she couldn’t have chosen better. On our first visit, Kavitha ma’am, a directress, warmly welcomed us, explaining the Montessori materials and teaching approach. She even demonstrated how they teach kids to roll a mat—not just as a lesson but with such care and respect that it left a lasting impression. That respect is something I’ve seen consistently here—children are never talked down to but treated with dignity, which is rare in many schools today. Over the past two years, I have watched my daughter blossom. She folds laundry, helps in the kitchen, arranges her shoes neatly, and loves to groom herself. The independence and confidence she has gained are remarkable. She can focus on a task for long periods without distraction, and while she may not know all the alphabets in order, she speaks English fluently, with an impressive vocabulary. Learning here is natural and child-led, not forced. One of the things I love most is how safe I feel leaving my child here. Security is always in place, and children are never let out without proper authorization. Even during field trips, everything is well-organized, and kids are accounted for at all times. The school’s openness to parents is another highlight. Director Mr. Imtiaz has been instrumental in fostering this, by initiating open-house sessions and parent observations, making families feel more connected to their child’s learning journey. Admin Mrs. Ayesha is always approachable, ensuring that any concerns parents have are addressed with patience and understanding. Overall, Third Environment is more than just a school—it’s a nurturing space where children thrive. If you want a place where your child will be respected, encouraged, and truly cared for, I highly recommend it.

Imtiaz Sir, the Director, is like the strong, silent foundation—steady, grounded, and ever-supportive. His quiet leadership nurtures an environment where both children and teachers thrive. A heartfelt thanks to Ayesha Ma’am, the kindest and most thoughtful administrator I’ve ever come across. The support staff—Babita Akka, Selvi Akka, Sharanya Akka, Salima Akka, Bhavani Akka—and the always-smiling watchman add warmth and familiarity that children find so comforting. From themed days like Animal Day to a joyful Sports Day, every school event is crafted with care and creativity. I eagerly await the day they launch their Elementary program—so my child can continue her beautiful journey here. Third Environment Montessori is a place where children are free to learn, play, grow, and thrive—without pressure, but with immense joy. What a beautiful start to a lifelong journey of learning. This is not just a happy place for kids but a safe place where parents can leave the children and be at peace. The parents are always kept apprised on every journey, every milestone of our little ones' school journey. Their elaborate progress reporting, their excellent annual presentations and phenomenal parents observation days are yet another examples of their exemplary pedagogical approach. We cannot thank the team at third environment Montessori enough for their amazing care. My daughter Arya thoroughly enjoyed going to the Montessori every single day though we got to attend for only a brief period. The facility is amazing, very well maintained and the teachers are so compassionate and empathetic towards the kids. My daughter would love to join the preschool anytime when we are back in India. Kudos to wonderful team!!!

Wonderful school. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the school and always excited and happy to go there. She learned many life skills and we can see her applying it at home. I was looking for good Montessori schools in chennai for my nephew and came across this school. This school has got a great ambiance! They conduct fun and interesting workshops for children that ignite learning and boost the cognitive and social development of the child. The staff and founders were extremely nice people, they explained how the Montessori method of education involves children's natural interests and activities rather than formal teaching methods and how it emphasizes on hands-on learning and developing real-world skills. I was looking out for a playschool few months ago and across Third Environment in google recommendation. I was not sure if it was the right place for my child until I paid my visit to the school. Ms. Ayesha who was the POC gave a wonderful tour of the school and explained the Montessori setup so well. My child loved being to the school every single day. The school has excellent teachers and help akkas to make your child comfortable. They have a wide range of montessori work items to keep your child engaged. No second thoughts. The third environment montessori school, hands down, has to be one of the best montessori schools i've seen in chennai. It is yet to officially began classes, but currently is conducting workshops. With a majority still stuck, in the education system revolving around pointless memorization. The popularisation of the concept of "montessori schooling " feels like the need of the hour. Not only does it provide montessori schooling, but also a environment that's vibrant, fun and social. It also had a nurturing environment for the students to connect to, in the best way possible and help them with holistic growth I was able to interact with people there, who were the founders. They were extremely friendly and mission driven people. They've built a learning atmosphere that is tremendous. Orderly, clean, and lots of great experiences for your child along with exposure to culture, nature, and community. The staff there were kind and polite. It is such a place where you can drop of your child and feel reassured of their safety and wellbeing . They give the childern there, individual attention and give them the love, guidance and support required.
