Stepping Stone Montessori Play School

As a parent, finding the right preschool for my child was something I took very seriously — and I’m truly glad we chose Stepping Stone Montessori School. From the very first visit, the warm and welcoming environment stood out. The school has a beautiful, well-maintained play area that’s unlike anything I’ve seen in other schools nearby. It gives the children so much space to explore, play, and learn naturally — something I really value at this early stage. The Montessori approach they follow is thoughtfully implemented. It’s wonderful to see how children are encouraged to be independent, curious, and confident learners. What I appreciate most is the individual attention each child receives — the teachers genuinely understand every child’s unique pace and personality. The teachers and staff are extremely caring, patient, and well-qualified. They create an atmosphere where children feel safe, happy, and excited to come to school every day. The school also maintains high safety standards, which gives us complete peace of mind as parents. Overall, after checking for close to 10 to 12 play school near by we narrowed down to Stepping Stone Montessori, It has been a fantastic foundation for my child’s early learning journey. It’s a school that truly combines quality education, nurturing care, and a joyful environment. Highly recommended to any parent looking for a genuine Montessori experience!

We were looking for a school for our 2.5 yr old son and specifically wanted one with a homely touch and genuinely caring for the children with a good ratio of Teachers to children. Stepping Stone for us has been that place where we were comfortable entrusting our son to experience his first school. After speaking to Principal Mrs. Renu Lamech, we knew we were in good hands with her 30+ yrs of experience and ability to engage with kids. She personally is involved in the daily classes and aware where each child is at. The teachers and support staff have shown so much love and care, have been very professional, polite and always doing what is best for the kids. My son has been under their care for almost 2 years and is very fond of his teachers and staff. The school has a beautiful premise with trees and open space ideal for children to play and engage in. The school also has a good variety of montessori activities and does a couple of trips twice a year. We are happy enough to send our 2nd child also to Stepping Stones. If you are looking to send your children for the first time with good love and care, a home away from home, this is a great recommendation.

We been very impressed with Stepping Stone Montessori. Our daughter joined the school last year, and we've noticed excellent growth in her communication and activity-based skills. The teachers are effective, offering valuable hands-on training based on the Montessori method. Furthermore, the school and management go above and beyond to make sure new children and their parents feel comfortable and supported from day one.

Joshua attended from 2023 to 2024, and the transformation has been amazing. I still remember his first day when he cried the whole time — the teachers were so patient and reassuring. The Montessori approach has not only helped him grow academically but also taught him practical life skills he still uses every day — like putting things back in their place, taking responsibility, and working independently. These habits have carried over beautifully at home. The nurturing environment and individual attention here are truly exceptional. We’re so thankful for the strong foundation this school has given him. Highly recommend!

My son attended Stepping Stones Montessori from 2012 to 2015, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. It’s a proper, old-school Montessori — no hype, just genuine care and learning. There was plenty of outdoor space for the kids to play, and the teachers were amazing — truly invested, kind, and attentive. We even received handwritten reviews about our child’s progress, which felt so personal and thoughtful. What stood out most was that the teachers actually figured out that my son might be neurodivergent, and because of their insight we were able to get him help really early. That has made such a huge difference in his journey. Special mention to Renu akka, who is deeply invested in each and every child. I’m so grateful for the solid foundation Stepping Stones gave my son, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing Montessori.

This is my child’s second year here, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. The staff are not only highly experienced but also incredibly loving and patient, taking care of every child with the utmost attention. The authentic Montessori method they follow has brought remarkable improvement in my child’s confidence, independence, and overall development. The learning environment is calm, structured, and truly child-centric. We feel completely assured that our child is in the best hands!

We couldn’t have chosen a better school for Ishir to begin his educational journey. The teachers at Stepping Stone are exceptionally attentive, who really see and understand each child they work with. Regular updates and highly detailed reports from the class teachers gave us really helpful insights into how our child was learning and growing. Over time, we’ve watched Ishir blossom—growing in confidence, curiosity and emotional awareness. The nurturing environment at Stepping Stone has played a massive role in that.
