Quería un Shruti Box desde hacía un tiempo para cantar mantras y meditar y tenía muy claro que quería comprarlo en un sitio especializado de Varanasi. En mi viaje aquí encontré esta tienda que es un oasis de paz en medio de la caótica ciudad. Suraj nos atendió increíblemente bien, además le comenté que nunca había tocado un Shruti Box y me enseñó a tocarlo fácilmente. Me mostró varios modelos sin ninguna presión (cosa dificil en India) pero finalmente me decidí por el grande que esta afinado por el a la frecuencia del corazón y se sentía genial. Además el precio es bueno por la calidad que ofrece y su hospitalidad y atención es insuperable. Gracias Suraj

I met Suraj during my last trip to Varanasi and I can only recommend this place. He showed us all the instruments, let us play them and he shipped to Italy the tanpura I chose. The tanpura arrived some weeks later, perfect and very well packaged. Can’t wait to return!!

Meeting Suraj at Music Vibes Shop in Varanasi was a life changing experience! As a western woman already studying Indian Classical Music, I was thrilled to visit an authentic Indian classical musician and his shop while staying in Varanasi. Suraj is so warm and friendly that anyone will feel welcome. His knowledge and passion for music is so tangible and inspiring. I wanted to buy every instrument he had there because the quality was outstanding! I ended up getting a sitar which is amazing but I will go back for a harmonium soon. He also offers lessons and boat rides on the Ganga while playing music. I encourage everyone to stop by his shop and become immersed in the spirit of Varanasi music culture. It's an experience you won't forget!

Suraj is a talented musician and I found him kind and very personable to get to know and work with. I bought an instrument from him and he was very helpful with shipping it internationally. I would buy from him again and would definitely recommend him.

I met Suraj during my last trip in Varanasi on November 2024. I have learned with him the basic rhythms of tabla and I don’t regret it. Each seconds spent with him was a present to music and life. Suraj is a great master teacher. Don’t hesitate to meet him and have lessons of what you want. You can try, sitar, harmonium, tabla, tanpura etc…musically.

We really learned about Indian music in Música Vibes. They tought us so patiently how to tune and play the tampura, that we are really thankfull and glad to recomend this store.
