I found an amazing platform, DHUNGURU, to learn all sort of music beyond geographical boundaries DHUNGURU is a place where music is taught in the simplest form to all level of learners with excellent gurus. I really love and appreciate DHUNGURU for being such an awesome platform for those who have passion for music. Thank you DHUNGURU and my wonderful Guru Mr Pritam Senapati. Dhunguru Music School – A Disappointing Experience I enrolled my daughter for 39 online music classes with Dhunguru, based in Gurgaon Sector 49, trusting their commitment and professionalism. At the time of enrollment, there was no mention of any expiry date for the classes. Suddenly in August, I received a message stating that 33 classes would expire by November 6 — a condition buried in their so-called Terms & Conditions, which were never shared during onboarding. Despite multiple follow-ups, their response was negligent and dismissive. We tried to make the most of the remaining time, but their app started malfunctioning, booked sessions were cancelled without notice, and technical issues made it impossible to continue. Reaching out via WhatsApp and email was pointless — no replies, no resolution. I paid ₹20,000 for a service that turned out to be unreliable, unprofessional, and misleading. Dhunguru appears committed only during onboarding — after that, they operate on their own hidden rules and ignore customer concerns. I am not the only one who got scamed by them there are many I got to know via social network. As a parent, I invested in my child’s passion, not to be cheated or ignored. Dhunguru’s service is pathetic, and I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting them.

I joined Dhunguru in 2024 for violin classes. Due to a health issue, I couldn’t attend sessions just for 2weeks. When I tried to rejoin, I was unable to access the app. I tried contacting them several times, but their phones were not reachable. It’s very disappointing to see such poor support. I lost my money, and they haven’t responded properly.It’s clear they only care about money, not their students.i paid for 60 classes now I lost my money and got no support. Please don’t trust this app!

On September 25th, my class was suddenly scheduled on Zoom, but it never connected. Later, I got an email from the founders saying Dhunguru was facing financial problems and classes would be stopped for some time. A week later, they sent a Google form to fill in our details, but there was no word about refunds or when classes would start again. Now the app doesn’t work, the website is down, and the founders are not replying anywhere. It looks like a scam that has affected many students. Let’s come together and take strong action against the company and its founders. I’ve seen many similar reviews from other students too.

Hello, I'm Sushmita. Y, A vocalist, a vocal coach and a musician. Teaching on Dhunguru has been one of the most enriching chapters of my musical journey. As a vocal coach on this online platform, I had the opportunity to connect with students across different age groups and cultural backgrounds,  helping them explore their voice and build a deeper connection with music. What made Dhunguru special for me was its a very flexible learning environment. The platform provided tools that allowed me to tailor each session according to the student’s pace and learning style, whether they were beginners or already at an intermediate level. I conducted sessions in both Hindustani classical and Western vocal techniques, focusing on voice culture, breath control, pitch correction, and expression. students not just improve technically but also grow in confidence and performance ability. The joy of watching them sing freely and with emotion was deeply fulfilling. More than just a teaching experience, Dhunguru became a space of mutual learning and growth. Each student brought their own spark, and every session added to my own understanding of teaching, communication, and music itself. dhunguru gave me a platform not just to teach, but also, to grow as a musician, a mentor and a listener and for that I'm truly grateful. Also, grateful to the whole dhunguru team support, and the trust of all the learners who allowed me to be a part of their musical journey. Thank you!.

Warning — possible fraud! I paid ₹35,000 in advance to Dhunguru for online guitar lessons. After around 10–12 sessions, the app suddenly stopped working — no access to booked sessions, no response from support, and the platform went completely blank for existing users. What’s shocking is that their website still allows new users to sign up and make payments, even though existing subscribers cannot access the service. This feels like a serious consumer fraud. Please be careful before making any payments — the company has stopped delivering what it promised.

DONT JOIN we got scammed 25,000 rupees!!!! I enrolled my kid to learn vioilin and at first they seemed very friendly and provided demo classes as soon as we paid and got enrolled they stopped responding we have been calling them and trying to reach them for over 2 months my kid has not even been in one class and they are giving no response this is furious and a scam of your money. They seem believable just to get you to pay and end up blocking your number. THIS IS FAKE AND A LOOT OF YOUR MONEY there is no refund and now we have wasted 25,000 rupees not to mention they forced us to pay extra convincing it was a good investment
