Piano Lab

This is one of the worst training institutes I have come across. Their primary focus seems to be on collecting fees rather than providing quality training for the kids. The teachers are neither well-trained nor knowledgeable, which severely impacts the learning experience. Classes rarely start on time, yet they always end promptly, showing a lack of commitment to students progress. Overall, the management appears disorganized and indifferent to the needs of learners. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against joining in this institute. We were taking classes since may 2025 till December 2025 . All payments were on time and as requested !! I am extremely disappointed with this person here. While a fee reminder is understandable , the personal and rude messages that followed were completely unprofessional and unacceptable. After deciding to discontinue further classes , Making personal remarks about my child and questioning his discipline crossed a clear boundary . A teacher has no right to speak about a student or parent in this manner. Very unprofessional communication - inappropriate personal remarks about my child is disturbing and is completely unacceptable!!

My daughter has been taking piano lessons at Piano Lab for over 2 years now and we've been incredibly impressed! Her teacher ( Mr. Srikanth Gnanasekharan) is so patient, supportive, and knowledgeable. He made learning piano fun and engaging for my daughter. We've noticed a significant improvement in my daughter's skills and confidence since she started.Thankyou.

My son has been learning piano at Piano Lab for the past one year. His learning experience as expressed by him is just awesome. Mr. Srikanth is himself excellent in teaching with great accuracy and ambiguity. Previously My son tried tried to learn in different places but not satisfactory as now. Really thankful to Srikanth sir for being so friendly to my son and at the same time being a very strict teacher.

My son Karthik (nine year old ) is pursuing grade 7 under the mentorship of Srikanth Gnanasekaran For the past two years. We were referred to Srikanth by Karl Lutchmayer (a renowned concert pianist and faculty at Trinity Laban, UK). My son had not done any grades prior joining PianoLab. I must admit that my wards progress has been exponential . Srikanth’s teaching methods are unique and he can give the right thrust to your child’s abilities. I found Srikanth to be firm with his students and expects nothing less than excellence from them. PianoLab has the right ambience and infrastructure to nurture Your child’s music skills. Though we moved out of Chennai, but my son is still continuing lessons with Srikanth through online mode as he is one of the best teachers at Chennai. For beginners or professionals who dreams of a musical rollercoaster journey, then PianoLab is the destination. Commander Thiru Indian Navy

I can say, without a doubt, that Piano Lab and Mr Srinkanth have helped me develop greatly as a pianist. Mr Srikanth is vastly experienced as a pianist and teacher, and his insights have been valuable for me as I've progressed over months and years. He always encourages me to attempt pieces beyond my self-perceived level, which has led to me greatly improving and ameliorating technically. Would highly recommend the institute.

My daughter has been learning from Srikanth Sir for the past 8 years and she had been very fortunate to have such a dedicated and talented teacher. Srikanth is very passionate about music and brings out the best in each student. The new place Piano Lab is spacious and the ambience is good.

I’ve been associated with Mr. Srikanth right from the beginning of my piano education. We’ve developed a good teacher-student rapport which made this long term association possible. Teaching such intricate techniques to an adult is a challenging task. Srikanth handles it gracefully. With the new studio launched recently, with lot of facilities and exclusive rooms for A-Z of music in both the classical and modern era, from children to people pursuing to be a pianist, a composer/ music producer, this is an inspiring place to be!
