Shiju sir is a great teacher, his methods may take more time but teach you music as a whole rather than just an instrument. You become a musician not just a robot playing memorised sequences. I have joined the Grace Music Academy 3 months ago. Mr. Shiju is a very passionate and wonderful teacher, always inspiring, motivating me and at the same time, patient. And, so I have already learnt to play a few songs! His methodology is unique as he follows different pedagogy for different students. This is a much needed but rarely found in teachers who do the same syllabus and method course for all students; He usually identifies the capability, interests and strength of the student and then designs the course curriculum; and for my course, based on my doubts, questions, he always expands the course scope to share the nuances of learning music. His focus is on my learning, my practice and I am sure, thanks to him, I will soon be a fully accomplished confident music player.
