I had the best experience with Amala mam and her team! I have sensitive, oily skin, yet my makeup stayed flawless from my early morning muhurtham till the end of the wedding. The hair, jewellery setting, and every detail were perfect. I felt so confident and beautiful throughout the day. Highly recommended!

My overall experience with Amala, the bridal makeup artist, was extremely disappointing. Right from the start, she never made time for a proper meeting, which already showed a lack of professionalism. On the event day, she was not punctual, and because she arrived late, the makeup didn’t stay long and clearly looked rushed and poorly done. Amala had promised me a glass-skin makeup look, but on the day she delivered only normal makeup. When questioned, she claimed that glass-skin makeup "doesn’t suit my skin," which felt like an excuse after failing to deliver the promised service. Even worse, the face and neck shades didn’t match, making the finish look very uneven. She also didn’t come for the changeover, despite everything happening in the same town. Almost the entire hairdo and saree draping were done only by her assistant, not by Amala herself, even though she was the one I booked and paid for. When I raised a complaint about the poor makeup and the assistant’s work, Amala responded in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner. Instead of taking responsibility, she blamed my skin tone and even suggested that I "visit a doctor," which was completely inappropriate, insensitive, and unprofessional. No customer deserves such hurtful comments, especially from someone working in the beauty industry where respect and client comfort are essential. Overall, Amala came across as very money-minded, putting in effort only when someone pays a high amount or helps promote her. The entire experience felt unethical and highly disrespectful. I would not recommend Amala to anyone looking for reliable, professional, or respectful bridal makeup services.

I booked Amala Makeover for my engagement and wedding. The team did my engagement makeup, and it was absolutely amazing and flawless. I received so many compliments, and everyone in my family loved the makeover. Thank you so much to the entire team for making my big day so special. For my wedding, Amala mam did a wonderful makeover for me, and I honestly have no words to describe how perfect it was. The makeup lasted beautifully throughout the entire day. What I loved the most is that they maintained my natural dusky skin tone with a super glowy finish. Thank you once again, Amala mam and team! ❤️

Our overall experience with Makeover Amla was extremely disappointing. The makeup done for my sister-in-law did not match what we requested. It was uneven, and she only applied makeup on the face without covering the neck. Even though we booked and paid specifically for her services, only her assistant handled the hairdo and saree draping, which felt unprofessional and misleading. When we shared our concerns, her response was very rude. She made insensitive comments about my sister-in-law’s skin tone and even suggested seeing a dermatologist, which we found extremely disrespectful and unacceptable. In my personal experience, she also seemed very money-focused and unprofessional. I would not recommend booking her, as we felt that her attitude and behaviour added unnecessary stress to what was meant to be a beautiful day. While she may appear polite on social media, our experience in person was very different, and we felt that the online image did not match the reality.
