PTE Exam Centre, Surat

Dear Pearson Team, I would like to share my recent experience at the PTE exam center located at Swastik House in Surat. Unfortunately, the facilities at this center were quite disappointing and did not align with the high standards typically expected from a Pearson-authorized test center. There was no proper reception or waiting area for candidates, and the lack of air conditioning made the environment extremely uncomfortable, especially given the current heat. Additionally, the staff present were not particularly responsive or courteous in their interactions with students, which added to the overall stress of the experience. Considering that candidates pay a substantial fee of approximately ₹15,000 for the exam, it is reasonable to expect a basic level of comfort, professionalism, and support. I believe that exam centers should provide a conducive environment for test-takers, which unfortunately was not the case here. I would strongly recommend that representatives from Pearson India Education Services Pvt. Ltd. conduct regular visits—ideally every quarter—to all affiliated centers to assess conditions firsthand and gather feedback directly from students. This would not only help maintain consistent standards across all locations but also ensure a better experience for future candidates. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback. According to my experience, when I gave the exam here recently, I found that the staff is very kind and those who are saying here in all the reviews that there is a lot of noise, the instrument is not good, you should not consider all those things Ignore them. Overall, Best & Ignore Negative Comments... Best Of Luck...

Staff were great and i dont understand why people are complaining about hygiene, it's top notch and yes during speaking you can hear others to speak but i can assure you it will not impact your score in speaking if you think other voices will be overlapped. its great and i recently got 72 in pte by giving exam here.

Please do not give exam in this Centre , it was very disgusting place , there were 8-9 students giving exam at a time. There was very loud noise , I couldn’t give exam properly and I couldn’t hear properly in my headphones. All were speaking loudly. I felt like I was in vegetable market.

Staff was 100% supportive.. but the problem was any bug in surat pte center... candidate can not receive his/ her effort marks.. This is 100% true.. i dont like surat center... candidate does not receive desirable score... every time candidate loss the money, time and effort..

Nice Pearson Vue center for examinations. Staff are supportive. I wrote an exam recently and passed. Must choose this center every time.

There was a power cut during an exam and there was not any power backup for A.C or Fan. It was not a comfortable situation to give an exam because of no ventilation and so much heat. In between the Reading module, the server got hanged for 5 to 10 minutes. With such problems, it is unjust to get focus in the exam like PTE.
