I had an extremely wonderful experience with Mr. Balani Sir during my IELTS preparation. He not only guided me throughout the journey but also constantly motivated me to perform better, which eventually helped me achieve an overall band score of 7. Although I could have achieved this score within one month under his guidance, it actually took me around two months — mainly because I spent the first month unlearning the incorrect strategies I had picked up earlier from other sources. During my preparation, I faced continuous challenges, especially in the Reading section. This part of the test completely depends on one’s comprehension ability, and it took me around 20 practice tests to finally cross the 6-band mark. Initially, I was stuck at 5.0–5.5 bands and felt quite demotivated. However, Mr. Balani Sir encouraged me to keep practising and to trust his methods. By the time of my final exam, I had completed 45+ reading practice tests, which helped me raise my average band to 6.5, and sometimes even reach 7.0. Apart from this, he made me practise 35+ cue cards, 45+ listening tests, and 15+ writing tasks, all of which significantly improved my overall performance. In the end, I can confidently say that I would not have achieved 7 bands without his excellent guidance and continuous support.
