PACE IIT & Medical (PCMC)

Me and my family shifted to Pune when I was in 11th, I joined PACE in 11th itself and I have recently cracked JEE Advanced 2021 with a rank of 5976 and I am currenty studying in IIT Bombay. I did my preparation from Pace IIT & Medical and I feel that was the best decision of my life. Initially I was confused about which coaching to go ahead with as there are so many other options like Bakliwal, Allen, FIITJEE, etc. But after comparing the pros and cons of all of them, I went ahead with pace. I would write down the result of my comparison so that you can do the same before taking a decision when taking the most important step of your life: 1) Amount of time given to teaching (contact hours): Pace has double the contact hours compared to other institutes where you are just taught the concepts and minimum practice is given during class. With pace, the best thing is that they have their own college because of which you get daily 6 hours of actual coaching. Since the teachers have sufficient time to complete the syllabus, they give you plenty of practice in class itself along with discussing the HW. Compare this to other institutes where there are only 3-4 hours of coaching per day, due to which teachers at other institutes have to go very fast in order to cover up the syllabus. In short, Pace actually has a very good learning pace(speed) compared to other institutes where syllabus is usually rushed from the very beginning. 2) Attitude of Teachers: The faculty team at Pace is very dynamic with great personalities and of course great teaching skills. The dedication is such that they would respond to your doubts even if it’s midnight, believe me I’m not lying about this. Whenever you feel demotivated or have any sticking points during your preparation, you can simply go and meet or call any of your favourite teachers. Since they have themselves been through the same process, they are very much able to understand the problems and then provide actionable points which really help in improving the situation. I had got the same feedback from my seniors at Pace. 3) Quality of Teachers: Teachers that have taught us at Pace were all IITians and have plenty of teaching experience. This helped us not only during our JEE prep but also at later stages when we were confused about which IIT to choose and which branch to take. 4) College-Coaching Integration: Pace runs PMC’s Rajiv Gandhi Academy of eLearning (RGA) along with a college of their own. Students don’t have to worry about balancing boards and coaching as Pace does that for you! The time table is designed according to the need of a JEE/ NEET aspirant. If you are a sincere student then you would definitely get 80-90% in boards which also makes you eligible for scholarships provided by PMC to RGA students. 5) Sense of Belonging: Pace makes you a part of it’s family and does everything that’s required for you to succeed. Past year students from Pace who have secured admissions in top colleges across the country took sessions with us from time to time in order to guide us through the journey. This journey is much more than just studies. You require motivation when you face lows. Luckily our teachers have always been there to motivate us. The entire faculty team used to conduct motivational sessions for us from time to time which helped us continue the momentum. These are of course my own personal experiences and research. You should also do your own research before taking admission anywhere.
