Useless coaching and useless materials provided they ask 10000 for the materials which are completely useless even the faculties arent recommend it.

I am a student of Vani institute Bhubaneswar, appearing for 2019 GATE. I am very much delighted and glad to be a part of this institute. It was a pleasure experience of learning with top most eligible faculties of India. The atmosphere is very good, the management and staff members are very friendly and polite. Students can learn and prosper very well with this kind of environment.

I was preparing GATE last year in VANI INSTITUTE BHUBANESWAR,its way of teaching and study materials is very nice and the online test series that its providing is really appreciable. I must thank this institute for providing experts faculty coaching, tips and tricks for problem solving, materials and online test series.

The institute is really a premiere institute to have coaching or guidance for the most popular GATE exam.The quality of the education is very good and worthy enough to make impact on one's preparation.The faculties are caring and very much responsive to the students.Moreover the online test series of the institute are the highest point of focus.These services of this institute are really worthy enough to praise. Every engineering students who have the plan to crack GATE exam VANI Institute is really recommended for them.

It is really nice institute. We get very cristal concepts, teachers are very friendly and director Sir is also soft behavior. They take care all the students I mean all types of students the teach from 0level too, they provides advance classes. Some times we do refreshment party. On the occasion of refreshment party teachers are help us. I love their teaching style. I'm preparing for GATE-19 (EE) and my review is solely based on (EE) Vani Institute Bhubaneswar. Without further ado I'll break down the pros and cons of the institute and it's administration and I believe most of the students who have been studying at Vani Institute Bhubaneswar Orissa.(2018-19) Pros : 1. The teachers were good ( could have been great ) 2. The admission fee is the least compared to any other institute which 'allegedly' belong to the same league. 3. The study materials and test series are covered under the nominal admission fee. 4. Good quality tests and mock tests are made available online to the students. Cons : 1. In each and every subject other than Networks, not more than 85 percentage of the entire GATE syllabus was covered. 2. In crucial subjects like PS , EM and CS , numerous topics were just brushed from the top without going into the detailed analysis. For eg. Symmetrical Faults Analysis, detailed discussion on faults Q's, detailed discussion on protection and power system stability, braking of motors, DC machines concepts and Q's , various tips and tricks of Control system frequency domain analysis and state space analysis, etc. 3. Maligning any teacher is not my intention or is ethical for me but If I have to be honest , the teacher assigned to teach Power Electronics was not at all upto the mark. The notes for PE are not even enough to score great marks in semester exams. Even after the students brought this under the light of the management, there was no attempt made to change the teacher or atleast provide us with the notes. 4. The management was synced with the BPUT schedule. So the students of private institutes and droppers had to be at the mercy of BPUT schedule, often resulting in incoherent breaks in between subjects and irregular timings. 5. The quality of question discussion in the class was average. 6. Merely solving a few previous year gate Q's doesn't help , you need to provide a variety of Q's for discussion or the ones that need a special mention , which I found out via test series and numerous previous years qs on my own. Hopefully other students were able to figure something out as well. 7. No proactive involvement of the teachers on any group (WhatsApp) or any kind of revision sessions or offline subject wise tests (only 3 at max). Conclusion : 1. If you're financially burdened or are not willing to shell out a hefty fee by joining the other top institutes, then you can join Vani Institute Bhubaneswar. ( I hope their time management improves and the teachers are given more number of hours to complete the syllabus meticulously). 2. I personally would suggest any serious aspirant willing to score more than 55 in GATE (Electrical Engineering) , please have a huge heart and spend those 55-65 thousand rupees to get an admission into the elite institutes for time is more valuable than money and this investment will seem insignificant once you crack GATE exam with high scores. Disclaimer: My review is solely based on my own experience and many others (you can trust me , I had secured a rank of 3100 on my first attempt) who have taken up coaching at VANI INSTITUTE/ ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING at Bhubaneswar, Odisha).
