Disclaimer :- The answer is purely based on my experience of Aakash Faridabad. Back in November 2014, I heard of Aakash and enrolled myself in ANTHE. I managed to get a decent scholarship of around 90%. Since from my childhood I was in awe of becoming a doctor, I saw this oppurtunity as a gateway to my dreams. Little did I know that all that shine is not gold. But you know what happened?? My dreams came crashing down to earth when I myself became the victim of their facade. Reality striked me pretty hard and a bit late. Our batch which consists of around 60 students was apparently divided. One part consists of the students who belong to reputed schools and the other consists of students who were not from well known schools. I was the part of later one. Teachers there are extremely professional and the interaction between students and teacher is almost negligible. They will enter the class on time and will leave on time. During regular class any kinds of doubts will not be entertained. You have to clear your doubts seperately which is quite difficult since the teachers there are busy in classes and in free time they are sorrounded by loads of students. Teachers there follow preferential policy. If you are from good school and are performing countinuosly well you will be in there good book and yes your doubts will be given priority over others for they think that your doubts are more worthy of their time than others. But I myself have seen some toppers arguing about a silly and totally irrelevant things and wasting time of others. On the very first day of our session they made it clear to the students that they will not help with the doubts of other coaching institutes and reference books. They somehow instilled the fact in our minds that Aakash’s study material is enough for NEET and that’s the main reason we find many students here on quora asking questions like Is Aakash study material enough for NEET?? No doubt they provide us with best study material yet it somehow is not enough because questions are limited and for practice we need to solve refrences and materials of other institutes. Coming to the quality of teachers, Biology teachers are really good. They provide you with precise notes. And they do remind us not to forget our NCERT. Sometimes in b/ w their classes when they feel the syllabus is going on good pace they ask random questions from the previous topics to keep check. Talking about physics chemistry I believe that faculty is not upto the mark. For these teachers assumed that each and every student attending their class knows about basics of the chapter so they mainly put strain on typical questions. What they forget is the fact that not all students are same. Students who find it difficult to understand the fact at once have pretty hard time here because there are high chances you might end up being insulted if you ask same doubt again and again. They also have so called Rankers batch in which they claim to teach top notch typical problems of only physics and chemistry. They claim to prepare students for those 5–6 questions per subject that seems difficult without even taking knowledge of the fact whether students are ready to face the remaining easy and middle level questions. I attended only 2 -3 classes, after that I stopped attending the classes because I don’t found them fruitful. If teachers there would have been more generous, a bit friendly and more in number they could have created effective results. CONCLUSION :- All Aakash centres are not same. So do have a look on pros and cons of a particular centre that you ought to join.
