Podar International School - Kalyan (ICSE)

I am writing this to formally raise serious concerns about the ongoing mismanagement and unprofessional conduct at Podar International School, CBSE Kalyan under the current Principal’s leadership. As a parent, I am extremely disappointed and concerned about the way the school is functioning. Despite paying a significant amount in school fees, the level of management, communication, and student welfare has been far below expectations. I would like to highlight the following issues for your immediate attention: Discontinuation of Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs): It is shocking that PTMs have been stopped entirely. Parents have the right to discuss their child’s progress directly with teachers. Why has this essential interaction been discontinued? Annual Function Scheduling: The annual function has been scheduled during the Diwali season in October, which is highly inconvenient for students and parents. Moreover, asking parents to drop children at Atre Auditorium on working days for rehearsals and the final event is unreasonable. Does the school assume that parents are available to take frequent leaves from work? Lack of Communication: Parents are unable to contact teachers or the Principal via phone or WhatsApp. It has been informed that communication will only happen through the Loop Learning platform; however, despite sending multiple messages, I have not received any response from either the class teacher or the Principal. This lack of accountability is unacceptable. Classroom Environment: It has come to my attention that certain class teachers are using inappropriate and disrespectful language toward students. This raises a very serious concern about the kind of culture and values being instilled in our children. These issues are not isolated to my experience — many other parents share the same frustrations. I urge you to personally investigate the situation and take strict action to restore discipline, transparency, and proper communication in the school. We trusted Podar’s reputation for quality education and professionalism, but the current situation has deeply shaken that trust. If such practices continue, many parents — including myself — will be left with no option but to reconsider our association with the school. Kindly look into this matter urgently and update us on the corrective steps being taken.

We are pleased to inform that our kids are showing steady improvement in their studies. They have also taken interest in completing the tasks assigned to them with sincerity and dedication. It is encouraging to see that our kids get motivated when their efforts are recognised. We acknowledge our kids progress and encourage them to continue with the same enthusiasm and commitment. Entire School staff is very cooperative and accommodative.

This school appears to focus more on dance-related activities than academics, which creates frequent disturbances for nearby residents and Rita Memorial School. Loud music is often played without adequate consideration for others in the surrounding area. The noise levels are frequently excessive and seem to be poorly managed, showing a lack of consideration for the local community. A school environment should prioritize discipline, mindfulness, and respect for others, while also placing a stronger emphasis on academic learning, especially in a shared residential and educational setting.

Both my daughters are in this school. We have been associated with the school since 9 yrs. And it has been a very satisfactory journey. The school teachers and management are efficient and take care of child development not only academically but also in other areas of their development. Fully satisfied. Thank you.

Podar ICSE Kalyan has been performing excellent in the education filed today. Various new activities have been introduced like innovation labs, music and sports which has made students learning easy and create and eagerness in learning. Thanks to Podar ICSE Kalyan for encouraging the students in new activities and also curricular forums in which students participate with enthusiasm and they get superb appreciation against it. My daughter studies with Podar International Kalyan, ICSE in third grade and we are extremely happy with the way we are seeing her transforming as an individual both academically and personally.. her trajectory has been absolutely brilliant and all thanks to Podar International school, ICSE which has been extremely instrumental in this progress.. Teaching staff is very good who ensure kids are explained concepts well and foundation is set strong.. also there are a quite a few new things like Innovation lab where kids are explained circuits and hardware in a simple yet effective way.. also administration staff is very good who ensure kids are safe while travelling as well as at school.. overall we are extremely happy with the school and would definately recommend it to everyone who is looking for a good school for their kids...

My ward is in Podar International School (ICSE) kalyan. I have received great support and motivation for my ward from all the teachers at every step. Their guidance helped my ward for over all growth and development of the character my ward is today. The environment of the school is very conducive to achieve the maximum potential of my ward.
