Readitorium Panvel

I joined this library in 2022 around the month of May-June, left it in February-March 2023 ,So the review is from period of May 2022 to March 2023. Things felt great till October 2022 but later on started going south .(HAD AC plan) Would divide the review in 3 parts,Details,good points and bad point I had an AC plan so I don't know much about non AC Basic Details- -Is open *8 AM to 11 PM* all days . -U can have *flexible plan* as well as *pay per day* basis. -*3 AC* room( room no 3 is big with capacity of 20,4 is medium- 9 and 5 is smallest with 7 seats,around total capacity of 34 seats and 2 Non Ac rooms(Room no 1&2 both are of same size around total capacity (9+9) of 18 seats) -Has a dedicated place to sit & eat called in as pantry. -*Filter* for drinking *water*. -Washrooms -Provide you with *shelf compartment* so u can keep books and related stuff. -Can find mates of UPSC,MPSC,SSC,CA,CS,NEET,JEE and similar related courses. -*Wifi* is provided(would talk on that) -*Desk ,Switch* allocated. -Its around distance of 5-7 min (on vehicle) from new panvel side of railway stn and around 15 min on foot. Good points -Good light arrangements and also if u feel dark you can ask them they would provide u with a table lamp type thing if the issue seems genuine to them. -Foot rack on ground floor to keep your footwear. -The cleanliness of rooms is good but can say is subjective to everyone's preference. -Has an inverter supply of around 3-4 hrs(no AC only fan). -Great study atmosphere.U stay in that study zone which gives a good boost. -Good room temperatures which range between 23°C to 26°C depending on weather. -Guidelines mentioned all over the place , seems very professional -Seperate washrooms for both boys and girls (above avg hygeine & seperate) -Seperate Dustbin for girls to throw Sanitary pad. -If u don't get the vibe in one room you can switch to other too(if seats are available). -Reception staff is friendly ,polite and would talk to you in a good manner. -Rates are I felt are good considering the facilities available again subjective as per everyone's affordability. -You get to choose from various plans 6 hours,9 hours,15 hours .' -They can consider discount if u ask them. Bad points -Lack of maintenance of various facilities and infra like- AC they won't do any maintenance unless the AC starts malfunctioning. -Water Filter , they themselves won't repair/clean the filter until someone complains about the taste of water. -Lack of maintenance of chairs, some of chairs are tilted,some automatically go down without activation of lever. -The shelves are preocuppied by books and material of members who don't even have the subscription as of the date. -Our girls washroom stinks a lot in such way that any sick person would vomit, no its not because of poor hygeine or anything , its something else and neither they seem intrested to correct the wrong. -They underestimate you or always expect you to adjust insted of taking any action against the person/problem causing the issue. -Crowd eating in pantry rarely clean the platform after eating,even the instruction on wall is clearly written regarding cleaning. -The current staff sitting at reception seems highly incompatible for the job,they lack decision making or the senior management has not given them the authority to make decisions,resulting inefficiency in the work..(The previous person was better). -Some part of crowd here never seem to adjust for any issue , would directly complain to central team instead of talking to the concerned person in a polite way. -U would never get a quick solution for any of your problem from the reception staff ,even for small issues they call the senior team or ask you to call senior team. -The person from senior team seems to be professional but won't solve any issues just sugar coat it and would ask you to adjust. -WIFI here is one of the major issue here, Its so inconsistent that the members stopped complaining regd it.u guys dont guarantee the speed of wifi that doesn't mean u can waive off the responsibility. For study- 4/5 for other 2/5

The only place which can be considered as 'Library' in Panvel is Readitorium. Spacious, air-conditioned and comfortable!! 'Your own space' as the name goes is quite true as this place offers you a desk to be yours till your subscription expires!! Don't need to carry books daily as they can safely be placed in the allotted cabinet or your desk. When I knew, I didn't need an inspirational quote but a coffee I would pull myself a perfect espresso shot from the machine placed in kitchen. 😉 You can swing by between 8am to 11pm, all days of week, no shutting down on any holidays!! 😀 Quite Friendly and co-operative staff, had a good time reading here! :))

Well maintained, clean and quiet place. Ideal for study with a very friendly and Co-operative staff. There is provision of cabinets for keeping your books. Covid related precautions are followed properly thus giving a sense of safety.

Good place to study in silence at affordable rates and flexi plans. There's WiFi, pantry room, washroom and option to select from AC and Non AC rooms.

This place is good for local students who require quiet places where they can concentrate and study well. Now students from Panvel need not go far as a very good reading room is at their doorstep. I have visited this place and can confidently say that it is as good as any reading room one may find in Mumbai / Vashi / Thane...

Best place...Cool and pleasant atmosphere..Zero disturbance...Best study place for doing self study of any competitive exams

This place is best if you are looking for a quiet place for studies or exam preparation. Been visiting here since 2017 and i can't think of any other place now. Here they have personal seat, wifi, personal book shelf,clean and tidy always (along with covid restrictions). I strongly recommend it to everyone.
