Learnbay

I am currently enrolled in the DevOps class and honestly its been a very annoying experience so far. There are multiple issues how Learnbay runs their operations. I am not saying other companies are or would be better, they are probably the same or worse. But fundamentally this industry promises a lot but fail to deliver as promised. My goal is to make folks aware and raise your concern in benefit to ourselves and other consumers. I believe they generate a revenue of about 25Lacs per class, that is a lot of money, which does not seem to justify the below observations - 1. Sales promised strength of 20-25 students. In real they have 60 students at least in my class. 2. Point above makes it hard to be interactive in class and ask questions to be answered. You are muted entirely in class, its a zoom webinar. You will be given mic access sometimes when you a query (not always) 3. Do not believe what the fancy brochure says. The schedule is way off of what they sell in the brochures. 4. Class cancellations with notice at the last minute. So far two cancellations in last 3 weeks. (4 classes / week) 5. Got a complaint - explain to multiple people, they will keep saying they will "arrange a call" with somebody else - keep hopping you from one person to the other. 6. Class generally do not start/end on time - the excuse is: we will wait for all students to join. Well, appreciate the people joining on time and start the class. Let late-comers watch the recording 7. They will likely tell you the classiis starting as soon as next week, as if they start a new class every week. But actually I think they put you on some class to keep you going and later move you to the actual one when it begin. 8. TRANSPARENCY - Their policy does not allow two students to talk to each other. This is a big red flag. They expect you to be flexible with schedule, cancellations etc. but there is no flexibility with payments. You can only enroll by paying 100% fee upfront. Guys, I'd sugget to negotiate on this - consumers should stop paying 100% upfront, specially in an online business. When you attend an inperson class, at least there will be some accountability if you step in the office, but in this online world I am only losing trust with paying 100% upfront. Edit: 3rd class cancelled in three weeks. No backup plan if the trainer is unavailable or their software breaksdown. Learnbay clearly cares more about $$$ over education
